Job Description: As a Business Development Manager focused on the EdTech sector, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our reach within the educational community, specifically targeting schools. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve direct sales activities, including presenting our solutions to school administrators and decision-makers, negotiating contracts, and closing deals. You'll be the face of our brand, instrumental in forging new relationships and nurturing existing ones, with the ultimate goal of integrating our EdTech solutions into as many learning environments as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development: Actively visit schools to present our products and services. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with school administrators, teachers, and other key stakeholders. Understand their needs and educational goals to propose customized solutions.
Market Intelligence: Keep abreast of the latest trends in educational technology and the broader educational sector. Gather insights on competitor activities, market conditions, and potential for new products and services.
Feedback Loop: Act as a liaison between schools and our product development team, relaying feedback and suggestions to help tailor our offerings to better meet the needs of educators and students.
Performance Metrics: Meet and exceed annual sales targets. Report on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.
