Job Description

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy. Responsibilities: • Develop business plan and strategy for international universities that ensures attainment of company international sales goals and profitability • Explore channel partners and build synergies that can expand the business • Business development and lead generation to acquire new customers/accounts. • Building out a strong hunting team and acquiring new accounts would be a key driver of growth. • Build strong relationships with key accounts and strategic customers. • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share. • Must have at least 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in study abroad industry. • Identify and cultivate relationships with educational institutions, agents, consultants, and other relevant stakeholders. • Organize and conduct promotional events, seminars, and workshops to generate leads and increase brand awareness. • Provide comprehensive guidance and support to prospective students, including counseling on study abroad options, application procedures, and visa requirements. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of services to clients. • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities for growth. • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor analysis for management review. Requirements: • The successful candidate shall be an energetic, effective, self-starter with strong verbal and written communication skills who is comfortable interacting with customers via phone, email, and chat • 5+ years of sales experience with an emphasis on international business development • Must have a natural ability to engage in business relationships with individuals and groups and a desire to improve these talents • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. • Proven track record of success in sales or business development, preferably in the study abroad sector. • Strong understanding of the study abroad process, including admission requirements, visa procedures, and destination preferences. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively. • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently. • Willingness to travel for the business development. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Fluency in English
