Job Description
Yocket, a leading platform for international education, is looking to grow its MBA admissions consulting business and help many more aspiring students for admission into top MBA programs globally. We are looking for a passionate and results-oriented Business Head to lead this growth.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the overall strategy, development, and execution of Yocket's MBA admissions consulting services. You will wear multiple hats, including:
Strategic Planning:
• Define the service offerings, pricing structure, and target audience for the consulting program.
• Develop a detailed business plan outlining revenue targets, growth strategies, and operational needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, technology) to ensure seamless integration with Yocket's existing platform.
• Identify and implement innovative marketing and sales initiatives to attract a wider pool of aspiring MBA students.
Team Leadership & Development:
• Lead and empower a high-performing team of MBA admissions consultants.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Recruit and retain top talent to ensure we have the expertise to serve a growing client base.
Growth & Profitability:
• Develop and manage the consulting service's budget, ensuring financial viability and profitability.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress towards established goals.
• Develop and execute initiatives to ensure the new business line achieves profitability.
Who We Are Looking For:
• 8+ years of experience with proven track record of leading and scaling new business ventures within the education technology or education services sector.
• Strong understanding of the global MBA landscape, admissions requirements, and trends.
• Experience in developing and executing successful marketing and sales strategies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• Passion for international education and a commitment to student success.
• An international MBA degree and experience with admissions consulting are highly desirable.
