Position Overview

GRG School of Management is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as the Dean. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of academic leadership, a passion for education, and the ability to drive the strategic direction of the institution. The Dean will play a crucial role in shaping the academic agenda, fostering a culture of excellence, and enhancing the overall educational experience for students.

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership to the School of Management, setting strategic goals and ensuring alignment with the institution's mission.
• Oversee academic programs, curriculum development, and accreditation processes to maintain high academic standards.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive academic environment that promotes research, innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Lead faculty recruitment, development, and evaluation, promoting professional growth and excellence in teaching and research.
• Collaborate with industry partners to enhance industry-academia relations, facilitating internships, placements, and collaborative research projects.
• Engage in fundraising activities to support academic initiatives, scholarships, and infrastructure development.
• Collaborate with other departments within the institution to promote cross-disciplinary collaboration and holistic student development.
• Represent the school at various forums, conferences, and events to enhance its reputation and visibility.

Qualifications

• A doctoral degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 15 years of academic experience with a strong record of research and publications.
• Significant academic leadership experience, preferably as a Dean or in a similar capacity.
• Strong record of scholarly achievements, research publications, and contributions to the field of management.
• Proven ability to inspire and lead a diverse faculty, fostering a culture of academic excellence and innovation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate accreditation processes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with industry partners.
