Chemistry Teacher (Job Vacancy)

Position: Chemistry Teacher for Higher Secondary Classes Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chemistry Teacher to join our school and educate our students in Chemistry at the higher secondary level. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering effective Chemistry lessons to students in accordance with the curriculum requirements. The Chemistry teacher will also be responsible for conducting assessments, providing feedback to students, and participating in parent-teacher conferences. Responsibilities: Develop lesson plans and deliver Chemistry lessons to students in accordance with the curriculum requirements. Assess students’ knowledge and understanding of Chemistry through a variety of assessments such as quizzes, tests, and examinations. Provide feedback to students on their performance and offer suggestions for improvement. Monitor and record student attendance, grades, and progress in the subject. Create a positive learning environment that promotes student engagement, participation, and enthusiasm for Chemistry. Keep up to date with the latest teaching methods and technologies, and incorporate them into lesson plans where appropriate. Collaborate with other teachers to plan and deliver interdisciplinary lessons and projects. Participate in parent-teacher conferences and provide parents with updates on their child's progress in Chemistry. Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment. Requirements: Master's degree in Chemistry. Teaching certification. (B.Ed.) Proven experience as a Chemistry teacher in higher secondary classes. Strong knowledge of Chemistry concepts and principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and motivate students. Proficient in using technology to enhance learning. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff. This is a full-time position, and the Chemistry teacher will be expected to work regular school hours.
