Position: College Counsellor Location: Bengaluru/ Mumbai/ Jaipur Job Type: Full-time Compensation: INR 3,60,000 - 4,50,000 Per Annum Responsibilities as a College Counsellor: • Mentorship and Guidance: Provide personalized mentorship and support to high school students, assisting them in navigating the college application process eff ectively. • Profile Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments of students' academic, extracurricular, and personal backgrounds to strategize and enhance their profiles for college applications. • Application Strategy: Develop customized strategies for students to craft compelling and successful college applications tailored to their strengths, interests, and aspirations. • Essay and Resume Review: Review and provide feedback on students' essays, resumes, and personal statements to ensure alignment with their desired university programs and admission criteria. • Interview Preparation: Prepare students for admissions interviews through mock interviews, constructive feedback, and coaching on effective communication and presentation skills. • Research and Market Analysis: Stay updated on the latest trends, admission requirements, and academic offerings of universities in the US, UK, etc. to provide informed guidance to students. • Client Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with students and their families, serving as a trusted advisor throughout the college application journey. • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with fellow consultants and educators to share best practices, brainstorm innovative approaches, and contribute to the continuous improvement of Tads Education's programs and services. Qualifications Needed: • Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred from a top tier university in India or Abroad. • Previous experience in college admissions counselling, academic advising, or educational consultancy is highly desirable. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to empathize and connect with students from diverse cultural backgrounds. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. • Passion for education and a genuine desire to empower students to achieve their academic and career goals. • Familiarity with the education systems and admission processes of universities in the US, UK, and Canada is an advantage. • Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, with a willingness to embrace continuous learning and professional development.
