About Young Achievers Academy

Since 2011 we have been running a game-based afterschool program called Young Achievers Academy that focuses on developing thinking and communication skills in children between 3 and 16 years. We are looking for passionate individuals who think skills like creative thinking, critical thinking, communication skills, empathy and problem-solving are critical and essential to develop in children TODAY. This program is also being launched online as Wizets and will be available to the global audience soon and as a facilitator in the program you have an opportunity to contribute to the deep learning of 1000s of children across the world.

Role Description

Position Available: Assistant Learning Facilitator – Young Achievers Academy

Full-Time

Location(s): Bangalore (Hennur-Bagalur Road)

Training and Probation: 1 year

Working Days (full-time): 9.30 am-6.30 pm (Mon-Sat), Sundays are Holidays

Job Description:

• Deliver the sessions to children as per plan (online and offline)
• Collaborate with a team of facilitators to deliver the learning outcomes
• Document children's observations from your class and send updates
• Review each child’s patterns and development every week
• Interact with Parents regularly regarding children's activities in the sessions
• Attend training sessions on designated weekdays to prepare for classes
• Learn and upskill on the various tools and games as well as connect and apply in real life
• Stay up to date on the latest programs and developments at Sparkling Mindz
• Work with the Sparkling Mindz team to improve the program and share best practices

Qualifications and Qualities Required

• Graduation/ Post Graduation from any recognized University with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• Enjoy working with children
• An open attitude towards new ways of teaching and learning with children
• Any previous experience of working with children or creative training attended is a plus
• Any previous training or counseling experience or a psychology background is a plus
• Demonstrable skills in creative writing, public speaking or other hobbies is a plus
• Interest in learning new skills and quick learning
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluency with online and offline education-related apps and tools as well as overall confidence about technology is a must
