JOB DESCRIPTION – COMMUNICATIONS ASSOCIATE
The Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy (“Vidhi”) is an independent think tank doing legal research to make better laws and improve governance for the public good. Vidhi is committed to producing legal research of the highest standard with the aim of informing public debate and contributing to improved governance. Vidhi works with Ministries of the Government of India and State Governments, as well as other public institutions, providing research and drafting support at various stages of law-making. Vidhi also conducts and freely disseminates independent research in areas of legal reform which it believes is critical to India’s future.

Job Description
Vidhi has constituted a collective - the Impact Collective - which oversees and implements strategies related to the horizontal functions of fundraising, communications, impact facilitation, and organisational development in conjunction. As part of this collective, Vidhi is looking to onboard a Communications Associate, who will be responsible for supporting these functions.
Responsibilities
The Communications Associate will work closely with the Impact Collective whose goal is to build a global brand identity for Vidhi. The role will also involve closely working with Vidhi Fellows and the Strategy team to assist in creating and implementing communication strategies to ensure that research has the impact.
