Community Manager in Mumbai (Job Vacancy)

"Tads Education, India's leading educational consultancy, is seeking a passionate and creative Community Manager to build, manage, and nurture a thriving community of high school interns. You will play a key role in fostering connections, engagement, and professional development among our interns across India.

Stipend: INR 12,000 - INR 20,000 per month
Type: Full-time Internship
Location: Mumbai/ Bengaluru

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Community Building & Growth:
• Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for building and engaging our high school intern community across various online platforms relevant to Indian teenagers (e.g., Instagram, WhatsApp groups, internal forums).
• Develop content strategies specifically tailored to the interests and needs of high school interns.
• Create engaging content (e.g., polls, Q&A sessions, live chats, success stories) to foster interaction and knowledge sharing within the community.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate intern experiences with the broader Tads community.

Community Management:
• Actively manage online discussion forums, respond to intern queries, and address any concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Moderate online interactions and ensure a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment for all interns.
• Monitor community sentiment and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and engagement.

Intern Development & Support:
• Develop and manage training programs focused on professional development skills vital for high school interns (e.g., communication skills, time management, teamwork).
• Organize online workshops, mentorship opportunities, or knowledge-sharing sessions with Tads professionals for intern growth.
• Facilitate networking opportunities within the intern community to encourage collaboration and learning from peers.
• Highlight intern achievements and success stories within the community to boost morale and inspire others.

Data & Analytics:
• Track key metrics related to community engagement (e.g., post reach, interaction rates, participation levels).
• Analyze engagement data to identify areas for improvement and optimize community management strategies.

Additional responsibilities:
• Stay updated on social media trends and best practices for engaging young audiences online.
• Assist with promoting Tads Education's internship opportunities and attracting high-caliber candidates.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Psychology, Mass Media, or a related field (preferred).
• Prior experience in community management, leading a team, organising events like MUNs, etc.
• Strong understanding of online communities and best practices for fostering engagement in digital spaces.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for education and a genuine interest in supporting the development of high school students.
• Ability to create engaging and informative content for younger audiences.
• Experience working with teenagers and understanding their online behaviour (a plus).
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to track and interpret data.
• Creativity, initiative, and a problem-solving mindset.
• Fluency in English and Hindi (highly desirable).
