PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To contribute to teaching & learning
SCOPE
The Assistant Professor reports directly to the Academic HOD’s and provides teaching &
learning and research services. Providing adequate teaching & learning services will ensure
that best support to students

QUALIFICATIONS

BTECH .MTECH  & BE 
WORKLOAD NORMS
a) All full-time faculty members should perform a minimum of 40 hours of work per week
 Teaching as per AICTE/VTU norms and ensure 100 % results in respective subjects
and aim at achieving ranks/distinction to the institution
 Prepare course material , lesson plans for the course assigned .Deliver lectures using
innovative methods and technology- Activity based learning , Group tasks, lesson
planning and execution, Technology enabled learning- Internet and ICT Techniques
 Assisting in Departmental Administration and other Developmental Works.
Participate and contribute to the growth of dept. and Institution- proactively take
responsibility in consultation with respective HOD for at least 3 activities.( Dept. or
Institutional)
