Job Description:

As a CBSE Computer Science Teacher at Nalanda Vidyaniketan, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education in computer science, adhering to CBSE curriculum standards. You will employ innovative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience and create a positive environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver computer science lessons aligned with CBSE curriculum standards, covering essential subjects such as Scratch, Microsoft Office Suite, Java, C++, HTML, Python, Photoshop, and SketchUp.
• Utilize various teaching methodologies to cater to different learning styles.
• Prepare, administer, and grade assessments to monitor and report on student progress.
• Maintain up-to-date records of student grades and attendance.
• Participate in curriculum development and school improvement initiatives.
• Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in computer science education.
• Mentor and support students in their academic and personal growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues and the department head to enhance the department's quality of education.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, and a B.Ed. degree with a specialization in Computer Science.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in the CBSE curriculum, with strong practical and theoretical knowledge of computer science.
• Proficiency in programming languages (Java, C++, Python, HTML) and software (Scratch, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Google SketchUp).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to use innovative teaching methods and digital tools to enhance learning and engage students.
• Commitment to continuous professional development in computer science education.
