Overview: Kido School is on the lookout for a skilled Content Marketing Specialist with a flair for crafting compelling narratives and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in producing high-quality content across various channels, including ad copies, websites, newsletters, and social media, with a focus on engaging our diverse audience of parents in India and potentially, the USA and the UK. This role requires a proactive approach to managing our online presence, responding to inquiries, and building a strong community around our brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Development and Management:
- Craft engaging and informative content tailored to the needs of parents, reflecting the Kido School brand voice and educational philosophy.
- Develop a content calendar that aligns with marketing campaigns and seasonal educational themes.
- Monitor and manage updates to the school's website, ensuring content is current, accurate, and optimized for SEO.
- Create marketing content using the Company’s content creation platform or other templates.
- Market Adaptation:
- Tailor content and engagement strategies to resonate with target audiences.
- Stay abreast of global content marketing trends and incorporate best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
- Social Media and Community Engagement:
- Oversee the school's social media profiles on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Google My Business ensuring a consistent and engaging presence.
- Respond promptly to messages and comments from parents, providing helpful information and fostering a supportive online community.
- Analyze social media engagement metrics to refine strategies and enhance audience interaction.
- Work with the relevant teams to ensure that Google My Business pages are updated and reviews are responded to and are current.
- AI-Powered Content Curation:
- Utilize AI tools to curate and personalize content, ensuring it meets the needs and interests of our diverse audience.
- Stay current with AI trends and tools in content curation to enhance content discovery and delivery.
- Analyze user data and feedback to refine content curation strategies and improve user engagement.
Requirements and Skills:
- Masters degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in content marketing, social media management, or a related role.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills, with an ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and engaging manner.
- Proficiency in content management systems, social media platforms.
- Strong organizational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
