Content Strategist (Maths K12) budget upto 8 LPA (Job Vacancy)

We are hiring for Content Strategist - Maths role. Looking for people who want to solve tough education problems and are deeply interested in the science of teaching mathematics.

Brief Job Description

We are designing programs for grades 1-8 which help students become proficient in foundational mathematics. In this role, you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:

• Design and develop mathematics content. This includes designing instruction aligned with learning outcomes, applying principles of learning sciences to design and improve instruction, developing assessments, etc.
• Assist in teaching mathematics at learning centres (working with one or more experienced teachers); design and conduct pedagogy experiments.
• Collect data and conduct analysis to find insights related to common student misconceptions, proficiency levels, etc.

• You have a knack for developing quality content and teaching. Experience of developing content is helpful, but not mandatory.
• You like to teach and work with students. You have ample empathy and patience. Maths teaching experience is helpful but not mandatory.
• You are a problem solver. You are persistent with hard problems.
• You are good at grades 1-8 mathematics (familiarity with the basics is sufficient).
• You can analyse data in spreadsheets (MS Excel / Google).
• You are a thorough and rigorous learner and can learn a new area by reading and researching. The specific areas you will be trained on are cognitive sciences, student psychology and motivation, and pedagogy techniques. Additionally, you will learn to use AI tools for doing data analysis, grading and feedback.
