Role: Corporate Relations Manager

The role as Corporate Relations Manager for the Business School is critical to enhancing corporate engagement, providing valuable opportunities for students, and contributing to the growth and reputation of the school. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and nurturing corporate relationships and ensuring a seamless transition for students from academia to industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Placements & Internships:

• Identify, approach, and establish relationships with marquee companies for student placements and internships.
• Collaborate with the Placement Cell to ensure a high rate of successful placements and internships for Business School students.
• Track and report placement and internship data regularly.

Live Projects & Capstones:

• Source live project and capstone opportunities from top companies and startups.
• Coordinate with faculty and students to match projects with academic requirements.
• Ensure the successful completion of projects, maintaining a high standard of quality.

Masterclasses:

• Identify, invite, and manage industry leaders and speakers for Masterclasses and guest speaker sessions.
• Coordinate event logistics, including scheduling, venue, and resources.
• Promote these events to ensure high attendance and engagement.

Corporate Engagement Events:

• Plan and organize round table conferences, networking events, and seminars to increase corporate engagement with the Business School.
• Develop and maintain a calendar of corporate-related events throughout the academic year.
• Establish partnerships with external organizations to co-host events.

Alumni Engagement:

• Collaborate with the Alumni Relations team to engage alumni in corporate activities.
• Foster alumni connections for mentorship, job opportunities, and guest lectures.
• Organize alumni networking events.

Academic Impact:

• Collaborate with the academic department to bring corporate advisors and experts to impact the curriculum.
• Ensure that the curriculum remains relevant and aligned with industry trends.
• Facilitate corporate involvement in case studies and research projects.

Daily:

• Conduct outreach and communication with corporate partners.
• Monitor and respond to emails and inquiries from corporate partners.
• Update placement and internship databases.

Weekly:

• Meet with corporate partners to discuss ongoing and future collaborations.
• Plan and schedule masterclasses and guest speaker sessions.
• Coordinate with faculty and students on live projects and capstones.

Monthly:

• Host or facilitate at least one major corporate engagement event.
• Analyze and report on placement and internship statistics.
• Review and adjust the academic curriculum in consultation with corporate advisors.

Yearly:

• Establish long-term partnerships with a set number of marquee companies.
• Increase the number of successful live projects and capstone collaborations.
• Organize alumni engagement activities and maintain strong alumni relations.
