Designation: Counsellor
Location: India(Malad, Mumbai)/ (Noida)
Reports to: Counselling Manager
Principle Accountabilities
- Accomplishing set target metrics by converting prospective students into confirmed admissions and succeed in achieving the performance goals.
- Active participation in educational events, college fairs, information sessions/activities as a representative of the company.
- Effective regular communication with students, parents, colleagues and external agencies for coordinating admission activities and resolving problems.
Work Dimensions
- Advice students on University selection, applications, SOP preparation, visa application and navigating the entire admissions process.
- Support the students throughout the admission process by answering their questions and helping them to complete the required documents.
- Review the student applications and academic qualification to help them choose the correct University, write perfect Statement of Purpose, letter of recommendation and fill up the University application
- Maintain student details and faculty details for the assigned course.
Work Context
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a good listener.
- Direct and relevant experience selling into or working with university recruitment, admissions, and enrollment teams are highly desirable.
- Ability to operate in a fast moving, high growth, entrepreneurial environment where we are still learning and evolving, has good communication skills and timely reporting as required
- Ability to ensure full legal and ethical compliance and conduct of business at all times and under all circumstances

Role Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in student education counselling for foreign Universities.
- M.B.A / Business Management / Marketing / Human Resource
- Experience in Marketing / Administration is a plus.
- Understanding of International admissions process for popular destinations like USA, Canada, UK, Europe, Australia etc.
- Fair understanding of career specializations and courses.
- Thorough knowledge of entrance exams such as GMAT, GRE, SAT, IELTS, TOEFL etc.
- Should have experience in guiding students with SOPs, Essays, LORs, resumes building, interviews.
- Basic knowledge of the Education-VISA process for various countries.
- Have used CRMs such as Hubspot, ZOHO, Salesforce etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a good listener.
- Attention to detail, high confidence, fast learner
- Must have a keen desire to learn and grow and take upon greater responsibilities
