Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Curriculum Academic Head to join our esteemed institution at the level of Leader. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational landscape by supervising the process of curriculum development for schools. This includes overseeing the creation of textbooks, activities books, lesson plans, multimedia content, and question banks. As a leader, you will guide the curriculum development team, composed of pedagogues, subject matter experts, and designers, ensuring the production of high-quality educational materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development Supervision: Oversee the entire process of curriculum development, including textbooks, activity books, lesson plans, multimedia content, and question banks.
• Leadership: Lead the curriculum development team, fostering a collaborative environment among pedagogues, subject matter experts, and designers.
• Quality Assurance: Review all content for accuracy and quality, establishing and maintaining high standards for educational materials.
• Content Guidelines: Design, implement, and review content guidelines, incorporating feedback from various stakeholders to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with school heads and teachers both online and offline to gather inputs, present offerings, and participate in events.
• Teacher Training: Spearhead the teacher training programs, enhancing their capabilities to deliver the curriculum effectively.
• Innovative Content Development: Oversee the innovation in book content, multimedia, and the development of a question bank generator to enhance learning experiences.
• Workshops and Seminars: Conduct and participate in workshops and seminars to promote educational advancements and share knowledge.
• Academic Strategy and Operations: Responsible for overseeing the academic offerings, developing curriculum strategies, fostering effective communication, and ensuring smooth operations within the department.
• Hiring Excellence: Manage the hiring process for pedagogues and subject matter experts, ensuring the team is equipped with top-tier talent to develop and deliver quality curriculum.

Candidate Profile:

• Education: Postgraduate degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in curriculum development for school books within a major publishing house or curriculum company.
• Skills: Proficiency in basic computer skills (Google Suite, MS Office), exceptional communication and presentation skills, and strong leadership qualities.
• Location: Willingness to work from our Noida office.
