As an IB Diploma Programme Computer Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students enrolled in the IB Computer Science course. You will create engaging and challenging learning experiences that foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and computational skills. Additionally, you will support the school's commitment to the holistic development of students by participating in extracurricular activities and contributing to the school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in accordance with the IB Computer Science curriculum.
- Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated to succeed.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth.
- Utilize a variety of assessment methods to accurately measure student progress and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary units and projects.
- Stay informed about current trends and best practices in computer science education.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Teaching certification or license in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience teaching the IB Diploma Programme Computer Science course is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, and SQL.
- Experience with project-based learning, inquiry-based instruction, and student-centered pedagogies.
