• Working Hours: Monday to Saturday - 8 hours Per day (12.00 pm to 08.00 pm)

Roles & Responsibilities:

As a DTP (Desktop Publishing) operator in the education publication industry, your main responsibility is to create and design educational materials using various software programs and tools. Your job description may include the following:

1. Layout and Design: You will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly layouts for educational materials such as textbooks, workbooks, study guides, and other printed or digital resources. This involves arranging text, images, graphs, charts, and other elements in an organized and aesthetically pleasing manner.

2. Typesetting and Formatting: You will be required to typeset and format text, ensuring consistency in font styles, sizes, spacing, and alignment. This includes applying appropriate formatting styles for headings, subheadings, paragraphs, bullet points, and other text elements.

3. Image Editing: You may be required to edit and enhance images to ensure they are suitable for publication. This could involve tasks such as cropping, resizing, adjusting brightness and contrast, and removing background distractions.

4. Software Proficiency: You will be expected to have a strong working knowledge of desktop publishing software such as Adobe In-design, Illustrator, Photoshop, and other relevant tools. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and PDF editing software is also important.

5. Time Management: Meeting deadlines is crucial in the publishing industry. You will be responsible for managing your workload and prioritizing tasks to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials.
