We are currently building a simulation based mobile game called The Workverse that enables learners to master soft-skills through immersion in various workplace scenarios and job roles. An essential component of the simulation is its AI capabilities, including, but not limited to, a conversational AI agent which acts as a personal workplace mentor to the learner within the simulation.

Your role:

This is a full-time, 2-month internship position for a Dataset Writer at Workverse.

As a Dataset Writer Intern, you will play a pivotal role in the development of our conversational AI agent by curating, creating, and refining textual datasets used for training large language models (LLMs). You will be responsible for sourcing, cleaning, and annotating data to ensure its quality and relevance, thereby enabling the accurate and robust training of LLMs for our domain specific use-case.

You would be a good fit for the role if you are a competent writer who holds a strong interest in writing and adapting content for training AI models.

Location: Khar West, Mumbai (this is a work-from-office role)

Duration: May 1st, 2024 to June 30th, 2024

Stipend: Rs. 5,000 per month

Responsibilities:

• Research domain content related to soft-skills and workplace intelligence and curate content relevant for our use-case
• Identify and procure textual datasets from diverse sources, including open datasets, proprietary data sources, and web scraping.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to access relevant data repositories and APIs
• Evaluate data quality and relevance to specific training objectives
• Write, rewrite and edit raw content to adapt it for our specific use-case.
• Clean and preprocess text to remove noise, inconsistencies, and biases.
• Standardize data formats and structures to facilitate integration with training pipelines.
• Use domain expertise to access the quality of the responses generated by the AI models
• Refine and construct new datasets based on model performance evaluations.
• Incorporate user feedback to iteratively improve, enrich and expand dataset quality and relevance.

Who are we looking for? Background & experience:

• Exceptional writing and editing skills
• Strong interest in industrial/organizational psychology, education, and/or learning sciences.
• Experience with programming languages (eg. Python) and training ML models is not required but strongly desirable.
