Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for the position of Dean of the School of Journalism & Mass Communication. The Dean will be responsible for overseeing the school's day-to-day operations, developing and implementing academic programs, managing faculty and staff, fostering research and innovation, and ensuring its overall success.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and management skills
• Expertise in the field of Journalism & Mass Communication
• Experience in curriculum development and academic program management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to foster research and innovation within the school
• Ph.D. in Journalism & Mass Communication or a related field
• Prior experience in a similar role or as a faculty member in a university
• Publication record and research experience in the field
• Understanding of industry trends and ability to align academic programs accordingly
