Job Description
In this role, you will develop and deliver coursework on a variety of advertising functions, such as concept development, creative strategy and execution, media buying and account management. College-level teaching as well as production experience in file preparation, estimating, buying and scheduling is preferred. The ability to work with students and faculty of diverse backgrounds is essential.
Qualification
Ph.D. in any field in Branding and Advertising /Preferably Marketing/Education or other relevant field with evidence of published work and research guidance. Served as a Professor/ Associate Professor at a university or college for minimum 15 years.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Establishing and administering the education policies approved by NMIMS
- Devising and monitoring the class curriculum of the courses
- Planning and directing school activities related to student services including admissions, growth, progress and placement
- Devising the school calendar and plan events for the year
- Sourcing faculties overseas and locally
- Liaising and building relations with organisations and universities overseas and locally
- Develop and implement innovative instructional methods.
- Develop professional logistics to improvise student performance.
- Guide, lead and mentor students in research projects.
- Evaluate, monitor and mentor student academic progress.
- Create, innovate and implement career-enhancement programs and activities.
- Supervise and support teaching assistants.
- Participate in departmental and college activities.
- Serve and support functional activities of departmental committees.
- Assess, review and evaluate student activities and progress.
- The ideal candidate has worked with ad agencies or in-house marketing groups in client service, planning and research and brand management.
