Role Purpose
CIVICA is looking to hire a delivery manager to join our growing management team. The successful candidate will be involved in the day to day delivery of Agile development projects. The role will take responsibility for delivering at least one ongoing software development project including financial management. The role is heavily client focusing and will involve engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders.
This role will be measured by the following criteria: 85% of working hours to be billable; delivery of high quality product in accordance with our ISO 9001 Quality Management System
In general, travel to the UK could be one visit every 2 years. This can be at short notice and this frequency is not guaranteed as all travel is based on a clear business or project requirement.

Principal Accountabilities
- Day to day responsibility for delivery of software development projects
- Removal of impediments and blockers to project progress
- Take responsibility for the effectiveness and continuous improvement of a team working on a project
- Develop and encourage continuous learning within teams
- Accountable for end to end delivery of a project on behalf of clients
- Undertake project risk management
- Build productive client relationships and identify and develop opportunities for new business
- Management of project budget
- Maintain project artifacts (backlog items, burndowns etc) to ensure effective running of delivery projects
- Point of contact for any staffing, performance or infrastructure issue
Education:
- First class and above grade in BE/BTECH/MCA equivalent degree from a university of UGC accreted
Essential Competencies
- Experience in at least one Agile Methodology (preferably Scrum).
- Familiarity with structured programme and project management approaches (preferably PRINCE2).
- Intellectually strong with an excellent academic record.
- Strong track record of successful full-lifecycle software project delivery.
- Extensive experience of working in a client facing environment.
- Experience of delivering projects in a matrix type organization.
- Excellent team working with exceptional oral and written communication skills.
