Job Description

We are seeking a strategic, innovative, and experienced Learning and Development Leader specializing in professional skills and leadership development to drive the growth and development of our students and staff. The candidate needs to possess a blend of strategic vision and leadership acumen to design, develop, deploy, and evaluate comprehensive learning programs that foster the acquisition of critical professional competencies and leadership capabilities across all levels of the staff and students.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy focused on professional skills and leadership development, aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Curriculum Design: Collaborate with subject matter experts, HR partners, and business leaders to identify key competencies and leadership skills required for success within the organization, and design a diverse portfolio of learning solutions to address those needs.
  • Program Development: Oversee the development and delivery of a wide range of learning programs and initiatives, including workshops, seminars, coaching sessions, e-learning modules, and leadership academies, tailored to different levels and functional areas within the organization.
  • Content Creation: Lead the creation and curation of high-quality learning content and resources, in a variety of formats and modalities to engage learners and enhance skill acquisition.
  • Learning Delivery: Facilitate learning sessions and workshops, either in-person or virtually, leveraging a blend of experiential learning, case studies, role-playing, and other interactive techniques to maximize engagement and knowledge retention.
  • Leadership Development: Design and facilitate leadership development programs and initiatives aimed at cultivating leadership capabilities, fostering a culture of accountability, and preparing emerging leaders for increased responsibility.
  • Performance Coaching: Provide one-on-one coaching and support to individuals seeking to develop specific professional skills or leadership competencies, offering guidance, feedback, and resources for continuous improvement.
  • Measurement and Evaluation: Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of learning initiatives, regularly collecting feedback and conducting evaluations to measure impact and effect program refinements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including senior leadership, department heads, and HR, to ensure alignment of learning initiatives with strategic priorities and business needs.
  • Change Management: Act as a change agent and advocate for a culture of continuous learning and development, promoting the value of investing in professional growth and supporting staff and students in their career advancement goals.

Qualifications

  • BE/BTech/ME/MTech/MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience between 5 years to 15 years in technology training or education in a professional setting.
  • Strong understanding and application knowledge of various trending technology areas such as cloud, cybersecurity, software applications, networking, data and AI.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise, and understandable manner.
  • Experience in developing training materials, presentations, and interactive activities.
  • Excellent networking and collaborative skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different learning styles and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Certification in relevant technologies or instructional design is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), e-learning and assessment tools are desirable.
  • Be self-motivated, with an ability to work in a fast-paced demanding environment, independently and collaboratively, with dynamic priorities and deadlines.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed.
