Deputy Librarian in Pune (Job Vacancy)

Job Role:

• (a) to supervise the library services rendered such as reference, acquisition, processing, periodicals and circulation section.
• (b) to evolve the system disseminate awareness among the students regarding the availability of resources, information, search techniques etc.
• (c) to develop the systems in the library for security and preservation of the books and journals etc.
• (d) to set the system to improve the facilities available in the library for better service to the students
• (e) Any other work assigned by the Librarian/ Director, KRC.

Educational Qualifications:

1. Ph. D. in Library and Information Science + at least 15 years of experience experiences in University Library as Assistant Librarian or Deputy Librarian.
2. Minimum 55% marks for all degrees. No corresponding education will be accepted.
