Job Description:
As the Deputy Manager of Outreach & Student Engagement within the Training & Placement Department, the candidate will spearhead initiatives to enhance student employability and foster strong connections with external partners. The primary focus will be on student mobilization, outreach activities, and building relationships with companies and alumni to create impactful placement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver dynamic training programs tailored to boost students' employability skills, staying attuned to evolving industry trends and job market demands.
- Serve as a dedicated career mentor, establishing meaningful rapport with students to guide them towards successful career paths and participation in placement activities.
- Lead strategic efforts in student mobilization, actively engaging and encouraging students to participate in placement drives and T&P programs.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with external stakeholders, including companies and alumni, to expand placement opportunities and strengthen industry ties.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the T&P Cell, implementing technology-driven solutions to streamline processes and ensure efficient functioning.
- Collaborate with the T&P team to optimize overall performance, leveraging your outreach expertise to drive engagement and participation.
