Director - Vignan Institute of Law (Job Vacancy)

Vignan Institute of Law is newly constituted institution of VFSTR (Deemed to be University). It is offering B.A LLB (Hons.), and BBA LLB (Hons.) with intake capacity of 60 students in each course with effect from Academic Year 2020-21. The main vision of VIL is to evolve into a Centre of Excellence in imparting Legal Education through creative and innovative practices in Teaching and Learning process.

Responsibilities as a Director of VIL:

1. To integrate and advance the Universities core values, Mission and Vision into the administration, operation and planning for VIL.
2. To administer VIL pursuant through policies of VFSTR and implement them.
3. To prepare course curriculum with the respect to the futuristic development in the legal field.
4. To coordinate and motivate the faculty for smooth administration.
5. Represent VIL before Bar Council of India in all aspects.
6. Maintain cordial relations with local BAR, Bench and Legal luminaries for betterment of the institution.
7. Conducting interviews and recruit Law faculty, work with coordinators of other departments for Academic activities, Meetings, Orientations, Trainings and Workshops, Faculty Development Programmes at periodic intervals.
8. Having knowledge and fiscal responsibilities like managing budget, schedule and resources of the university.
9. To develop human resources to meet the futuristic requirements of law programmes.
10. To give impetus to research, enhance legal pedagogical skills.

Qualifications:

• 15 Years of teaching / Research / Academic Administration preferable in higher educational institutions, Law Schools.
• Guided successfully two Ph.D. Scholars with good academic record.
