Qualifications:

• A doctoral degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in higher education, with a strong background in teaching, research, quality assurance, and accreditation.
• Proven track record of leadership in quality assurance and accreditation initiatives within a university setting.
• Excellent understanding of UGC regulations and guidelines related to quality assurance and accreditation in higher education.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Commitment to promoting excellence, integrity, and accountability in all aspects of university operations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex projects and initiatives.

Job Description:

As the Director of Internal Quality Assurance, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and excellence across all aspects of our university's operations. Working closely with university leadership, faculty, and staff, you will lead efforts to enhance teaching and learning, research, accreditation, and overall institutional effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive internal quality assurance framework aligned with UGC guidelines and best practices in higher education.
• Oversee the design and implementation of quality assurance processes and procedures for academic programs, research activities, accreditation, and administrative functions.
• Lead efforts to assess and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching and learning practices, research activities, and student support services.
• Collaborate with faculty and academic departments to enhance curriculum design, delivery methods, and assessment strategies to ensure academic excellence and relevance.
• Provide leadership and support for faculty development initiatives related to teaching, assessment, and research.
• Establish mechanisms for collecting, analyzing, and utilizing data to inform decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
• Coordinate internal audits and reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and best practices.
• Facilitate the accreditation process and ensure timely completion of accreditation reviews and reports. Foster a culture of quality consciousness and continuous improvement among faculty, staff, and students through training, workshops, and communication.
• Represent the university in external quality assurance activities, including accreditation processes, audits, and interactions with accrediting bodies. Stay abreast of developments in higher education quality assurance, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements, and provide guidance to university leadership on emerging trends and best practices.
