GIM currently offers 5 PGDM programs: - the PGDM core program; PGDM Health Care Management program; PGDM Big Data Analytics program; PGDM in Management - Banking, Insurance & Financial Services; weekend part-time hybrid PGDM program for working executives.
GIM is looking for a skilled and compassionate Doctor to join our medical team.
Position Overview: Doctor will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients visiting institute medical centre. Primary duties will include diagnosing and treating various illnesses and injuries and ensuring the overall well-being of patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• To ensure that all users of the service attending the medical centre are properly serviced i.e. attended to, diagnosed, investigated, treated and when required referred to in time.
• To attend to patients in the OPD every day. The work consists of history taking, examining the patients, recording the history and the findings of physical examination; prescribing medication, and counselling wherever required. The basic aim is to provide high level of essential/primary health care, with emphasis being on early detection and treatment of disease and disability limitation.
• To undertake emergency measures at odd hours involving accidental injury, high fever, colic, seizure, excessive vomiting and diarrhoea, loss of consciousness etc.
• To impart information and education about illnesses in day-to-day practice and about diseases of public health importance;
• To generate data on health problems prevalent amongst the students during the year and planning strategies and taking necessary steps to prevent / control them will be additional responsibilities.
• Monitoring and supervising replenishment of all first aid boxes in the institute.
• Organise training of staff nurses to enhance their professional competence.
• To conduct health and general awareness sessions for the school community – students, teachers, parents, sub staff.
Essential Qualification
MBBS degree or its equivalent from a recognised institution. Candidate Must have a valid registration.
Minimum 5 years of experience.
