Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Education Counselor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in counseling students for various international courses and exams, including but not limited to IELTS, PTE, GRE, DSAT, etc. Additionally, the candidate should possess knowledge of visa procedures and requirements for different countries like USA, UK, Australia, etc.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide expert counseling to students regarding educational opportunities abroad, including course selection, university admissions, and exam preparation.
2. Assess students' academic backgrounds, interests, and career goals to recommend suitable study options and institutions.
3. Guide students through the application process, including documentation, application submission, and visa procedures.
4. Stay updated on changes in visa regulations, immigration policies, and study abroad trends for various countries.
5. Conduct informative sessions and workshops to educate students about international study programs, entrance exams, and visa requirements.
6. Assist students with visa filling and document preparation for countries like USA, UK, Australia, etc.
7. Maintain accurate records of student interactions, applications, and visa documents in compliance with company policies and regulations.
8. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement strategies for student recruitment, retention, and satisfaction.
9. Provide support and assistance to students throughout their study abroad journey, from initial inquiry to post-arrival orientation.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Education, Counseling, International Relations, etc.).
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Education Counselor, preferably in a consultancy or agency setting.
3. Strong knowledge of international study programs, entrance exams (IELTS, PTE, GRE, DSAT), and visa procedures.
4. Familiarity with visa requirements and procedures for countries like USA, UK, Australia, etc.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.
6. Proficiency in using counseling tools and platforms, including CRM software, email, and virtual communication tools.
7. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
8. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism in all interactions with students and colleagues.
