Job Title: Education Counsellor.

Location: Dalhousie, Himachal Pradesh

Job Type: Contractual (Annual Renewal)

Benefits: On-campus residence, Food Facility, P.F., E.S.I.

Salary: 40,000 – 65,000/- per month

Description:

As an Education Counsellor with experience in both national and overseas counselling, you will play a vital role in guiding and assisting students who are seeking educational opportunities both within their own country and abroad. Your primary responsibility is to provide expert guidance and support throughout the application process, ensuring that students make informed decisions regarding their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Student Counselling: Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with students and their parents to understand their educational goals, preferences, and aspirations.

University Selection: Utilize your knowledge of both national and international universities and courses to recommend suitable options based on students' profiles.

Application Assistance: Assist students with the entire application process, including document preparation, essay writing, and submission.

Guidance: Provide guidance on requirements, and application procedures, and support students in the application process within and outside the country.

Scholarship Information: Keep abreast of scholarship opportunities and help eligible students apply for financial aid.

Market Research: Stay updated on the latest trends in national and international education, policies, and emerging study destinations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in counselling, education, or a related field.

Prior experience in student counselling, preferably in the context of both national and international study

Strong knowledge of national and international Universities, courses, and admission processes.

Excellent communication, written, and interpersonal skills.

Excellent expertise in the digital and online world and research further related to educational counseling.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Well-organized with attention to detail.

Cultural sensitivity and a passion for helping students achieve their educational goals.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
