The University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) is nationally recognized in Canada for its commitment to teaching excellence. It offers over 100 undergraduate and graduate programs. We are seeking a dynamic Entrepreneur-in-Residence to spearhead the development and implementation of our new experiential education initiatives. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned entrepreneur who is passionate about education and has a track record of successful business ventures. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience and innovation to our team, helping to shape the next generation of business leaders. Fraser Valley India invites applications for this position at GGD SD College, Chandigarh, India.   Qualifications and Requirements: • Proven track record as a successful entrepreneur. • Extensive knowledge in business operations, financial management, leadership, and innovation. • Demonstrated ability in developing and executing educational programs or workshops. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, or a related field. MBA or equivalent experience preferred. • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students in a dynamic academic environment. Primary Responsibilities: Job duties includes, but is not limited to: • Design and implement experiential education programs that align with our mission and enhance our existing curriculum. • Facilitate idea incubation workshops, guiding students from concept development to execution. • Lead initiatives on startup setup, providing students with the tools and knowledge to launch successful ventures. • Conduct sessions on financial investing, ensuring students gain hands-on experience in making informed investment decisions. • Develop leadership programs that foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and team management skills. • Collaborate with faculty and industry experts to ensure programs meet the highest educational standards. • Measure the impact of experiential learning programs and continuously refine them based on feedback and outcomes. • Monitor protocols to ensure all Fraser Valley India Education and University of the Fraser Valley Canada’s policies are respected and followed. • Any other tasks as assigned by the reporting supervisor. • Keeping your supervisor Director, or designate, apprised of all your activities as per established guidelines.    To apply, please direct your cover letter and resume to HR.India@ufv.ca.   Kindly mention "Entrepreneur in Residence for Experiential Education Programs" in the subject while applying for this position.
