JOB DESCRIPTION About us:

24Northstar is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Essay Writer/Editor to join our dynamic team. We provide personalized guidance and application support, empowering students to achieve their academic aspirations. In this role, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and clarity of student application documents, including essays and personal statements.

Responsibilities:

• Write and edit numerous essays, resumes, Letters of Recommendation (LORs), and Statements of Purpose (SOPs) for adherence to standard English conventions, clarity of expression, and compelling content.
• Collaborate with students via Google Meet and chat to understand their goals and personalize application documents for maximum impact.
• Format documents according to specific university and program requirements.
• Demonstrate an understanding of client and industry requirements, adapting your editing approach accordingly.
• Manage deadlines effectively while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Work collaboratively with a team of skilled editors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English Literature/Language, Psychology, Mass Communication, Humanities, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of demonstrably successful experience as an editor, preferably in the field of education or related industries.
• Exceptional proficiency in the English language, encompassing grammar, sentence structure, critical analysis, and overall content organization.
• Excellent writing skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
• Tech-savvy with proficiency in relevant editing software and tools.
