Job Description

Supporting the Manager of Wider World Programs with various tasks by understanding how programs operate at Inventure Academy.

The executive will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations of the Community Outreach programs, Field Trips, Guest Lectures and Internships for students across respective sections of school. S/he will be required to liaise with administrative & finance teams, section coordinators and educators at the school along with external vendors or partners.

What it looks like on a day-to-day basis:

  • Help manager complete their daily tasks
  • Provide administrative support (e.g. manage data and information)
  • In case of one-off or regular events- plan and organize
  • Participate in planning of timelines for different programs
  • Help managers in evaluating programs (e.g. writing reports, analyzing data)
  • Help educators stay on track for progress of programs/projects
  • Engage with students to collect feedback on programs/projects
  • Create and give presentations

This position is suited for candidates who want to gain valuable experience in a managerial role with a potential to advance further.

Skills required

  • analytical skills- work with data, identify patterns and trends and draw meaningful conclusions
  • effective communication- excellent command over written and verbal English. Ability to write and respond to emails without errors
  • motivation to work with people - interact, empathize, teach and learn from others
  • Data and Information Management- save and organize data concerning programs, processes, and best practices for dissemination in relevant spaces. Experience of using Google Suite for work is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Kannada ability to speak, read and write fluently, an advantage (not mandatory)

Experience & Education

  • Prior experience of organizing physical and online events/programs
  • Domain knowledge of Social Development, Social Work, Education, Psychology, Sociology, Entrepreneurship, Child Rights, Impact assessment is desirable.
  • Masters in any of the domains mentioned above and/or Business/Management.
