The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to the President or Dean of a college or university. Responsibilities include managing schedules, coordinating meetings and events, preparing reports and presentations, and handling confidential information with discretion. The Executive Assistant will also serve as a liaison between the President or Dean and other staff, faculty, students, and external stakeholders.
Key duties include organizing and prioritizing tasks, managing correspondence, and overseeing special projects. The Executive Assistant must have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. A high level of professionalism and attention to detail is essential in this role.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and previous experience in an executive support role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office software is required. Knowledge of higher education administration and policies is preferred. The Executive Assistant must be able to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment in all interactions.
