Executive Assistant to the Dean of Academics (Job Vacancy)

"The Executive Assistant to the Dean of Academics provides confidential and administrative support to the Dean, ensuring the smooth operation of the Dean's Office. This role is critical in facilitating communication, managing calendars, coordinating meetings, and overseeing diverse administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Calendar Management: Schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for the Dean.
• Communication and Correspondence: Manage email, phone calls, and inquiries directed to the Dean. Draft and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
• Meeting Support: Coordinate and prepare agendas, materials, and logistics for Dean's meetings with faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders. Take accurate minutes and ensure timely follow-up.
• Travel Arrangements: Manage travel logistics for the Dean, including booking flights, hotels, and transportation along with the Accounts department. Prepare expense reports.
• Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all discussions, documents, and information related to the Dean's Office.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role.
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Knowledge of MS Office and Google Drive
• Experience working in a design office would be preferred."
