We are looking for an experienced Facility Manager to join our team and manage the day-to-day operations of our school. The Facility Manager will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the school’s physical plant, including buildings, grounds, and equipment. The Facility Manager will also be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the school’s students, faculty, and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the school’s physical plant, including buildings, grounds, and equipment.
- Ensure the safety and security of the school’s students, faculty, and staff.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
- Manage the school’s budget for facility-related expenses.
- Coordinate with outside vendors for repairs and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for facility management.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of facility staff.
- Respond to emergency situations in a timely and effective manner.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in facility management or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in facility management.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
