Seeking a Systems Administrator for Certinia to drive INTO's business growth. This pivotal role involves managing day-to-day operations of our global accounting system and closely collaborating with Finance to support business activities. Responsibilities include aiding in system development, implementation, and evaluation, while prioritizing efforts in line with business objectives. The ideal candidate is proficient in software applications and adept at efficiently translating user requirements into system functionality. Additionally, this position entails generating reports to support senior management, finance, and admissions.
Responsibilities:
- Daily administration and support of INTO Finance systems, including user setups, profiles, customization, and validations.
- Implementation of enhancements and rollout of new features.
- Design solution activities such as data mapping and object modeling.
- Creation and management of complex workflow rules, data validation, and triggers.
- Development and customization of reports and dashboards.
- Training of new and existing users on Certinia and related applications.
- Communication with application users regarding system functionality and enhancements.
- Providing technical support to application users and logging/tracking system problems.
- Creation and maintenance of documentation (processes, policies, configurations, user support).
- Liaison with software suppliers and administration of user groups.
- Specification and testing of new developments, liaising with internal users.
- Routine data checks, system maintenance, and understanding INTO's business activities.
- Keeping updated on new Certinia features and providing process improvement recommendations.
- Managing release process for patch or version upgrades and support incidents with 3rd party suppliers.
- Ensuring systems adhere to policy and procedure, including data and change management.
- Regular routine system checking and maintenance activities.
- Fulfilling other duties as required, commensurate with the role and business needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in an Information Technology related field, with English language proficiency.
- Certinia Support & Administration (SF Administrator qualification) coupled with extensive experience in operational Finance Processes.
- Proven ability to implement new processes, facilitate user adoption, and provide training and support.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, alongside the ability to articulate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Effective problem-solving abilities with a strong customer service focus.
- Self-sufficient IT skills, including a good understanding of data structures and data modeling.
- Experience with 3rd party provider Varicent and project management skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize simultaneous requests, and work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Admissions in the Education sector.
