Who Are We?

• SkillSphere Education is a Mumbai based pan Asia skill set development and knowledge enhancement organization with a simple motto – ‘Refining skills, defining futures…’. Through a plethora of educational programmes, knowledge-oriented initiatives and other endeavours, the organization’s main objectives are to develop essential life skills among individuals of all age groups, increase their general and global awareness, improve public speaking and communication skills, and most importantly, assist individuals in gaining the confidence to uninhibitedly express their views and display their talents.
• It fulfils these objectives by conducting numerous short-term and long-term educational programmes via both the online and offline interface. These focus on the development of soft skills such as public speaking, general knowledge enhancement, leadership etc. in an interactive manner. The programmes have been developed in-house and follow SkillSphere’s 3D Model of Learning (Develop, Disseminate, Display). Our educational programmes are primarily for students of Grades 3 to 12.
• In addition, SkillSphere has a range of other online initiatives such as Global Jigyasa, a weekly current affairs quiz launched every Sunday which is currently attempted by over 60000 individuals pan India. The Global Jigyasa app is also being launched very soon. SkillSphere also has a robust online general awareness resource base, and is at the forefront of spearheading innovative knowledge-oriented events such as quizzes, Model UN conferences etc. both via the online interface, as well as offline - in schools, colleges and private learning centres.
• The organization was founded in 2013 by Anansh Prasad, a graduate from an Ivy League University (Cornell University, USA) and a Mumbai University gold medalist Chemical Engineer. With an eclectic, motivated and talented team, SkillSphere Education has expanded to over 29 cities since then and has positively impacted the lives of over 70000 students pan India through its offline programmes and initiatives.
• Since the onset of the pandemic induced lockdown, SkillSphere’s online educational programmes have become extremely popular both among schools and in the B2C sector. It is rapidly expanding this vertical of its operations and is investing major resources into it as it continues to grow exponentially.
• Post the lockdown, SkillSphere envisages to be the largest integrated soft skill development organization in the K12 sector, both online and offline. We are already halfway there and believe it is time to take the next step!

SkillSphere Education is here to fill the void in soft skill development through its well-designed, structured and activity-oriented programmes and initiatives. We do what we do as we are passionate about developing future-ready and confident individuals, who are open to expressing themselves and their views about different global issues, and have the conviction in themselves to be leaders! Who Are We Looking For?

Associate Freelance Trainers As SkillSphere Education continues to grow and moves into its next large-scale phase of expansion, it has become imperative for us to hire individuals who can conduct our online and offline educational programmes on a case to case basis as mutually agreed upon. The number of workshops that we are conducting are rising at a rapid rate, and we want to ensure that we have the best talent available to conduct them. We are thus looking for individuals for the position of an Associate Freelance Trainer. The individuals need to be students in their 2nd last/final year of graduate education or working professionals who have completed their graduation in any field of study (arts, commerce, engineering, management etc.).

What Will You Be Doing? -

• You will first undergo 10-15 hours of training by SkillSphere’s training department in order to become a trainer. These training sessions shall be conducted online, and involve some level of homework that needs to be done by you between sessions!
• Conducting SkillSphere Education’s online educational programmes/knowledge-oriented events/initiatives on a case to case basis as mutually agreed upon. You will be conducting these for students of different age groups based on provided curriculum and orientation. Our online educational programmes are conducted as short-term workshops or as long-term ones. Once you agree to conduct a workshop, you must adhere to the policies laid down for them and stick to your commitments. The SkillSphere ‘Freelancer Policy Book’ lays down basic guidelines in this regard.
• Conducting SkillSphere Education’s offline educational programmes/knowledge-oriented events/initiatives on a case to case basis as mutually agreed upon. Apart from our online educational programmes, we conduct a range of offline educational programmes in different schools/colleges/private centres pan India. These are expected to resume in a full-fledged manner post the pandemic. Such offline workshops might be taking place within your city of residence as well as in other cities in which case you might be expected to travel. Please note though, that if you are only comfortable conducting SkillSphere’s online educational programmes, do let us know during the shortlisting process itself. You shall not be considered for the conduct of offline educational programmes in such a scenario.
• Completing follow up work associated with conducting SkillSphere’s online/offline educational programmes which includes making student feedback reports, analysing feedback forms and providing session reports
• Basic public relations with institutions/clients/parents as and when you conduct SkillSphere’s online/offline educational programmes.

What Should You Be Good At? -

• Communication skills: You must be able to speak freely and confidently with any person right from 8 to 80 years of age.
• Public speaking: While we don’t expect you to be a Barack Obama, you should not suffer from stage fright or a complete lack of confidence when it comes to speaking in front of crowds. If this is not a problem, don’t worry about other nuances of public speaking. You will be trained comprehensively for conducting workshops, educational programmes and events.
• You must be passionate about the field of education and teaching students: We are looking for people who are motivated about influencing social change through skill set development
• Inter-personal skills and confidence when meeting/interacting with individuals otherwise unknown to you. You must also have good presentation skills - Global, national, and general awareness. You must keep yourself abreast with important developments in the world. If you are a good quizzer, then this is an added advantage
• If you have taught in the past and are good at it, then this is also an added advantage!

Remuneration:-

• Offline Educational Programmes :- An amount of INR 7500/- (Seven Thousand Five Hundred Rupees Only) shall be paid for all ‘Full Offline Workshops’ which are defined as educational programmes conducted by SkillSphere that go on for a
