Job Description
· Design and teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses in Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior, Labor Relations, and related areas.
· Develop and update course curriculum to reflect current industry trends, best practices, and theoretical foundations in HR management.
· Mentor and advise students on academic pursuits, career planning, internships, and research projects in HR and related fields.
· Conduct independent research, publish scholarly articles in prestigious academic journals, and present research findings at conferences to contribute to the HR field's advancement.
· Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary research projects, securing grants, and participating in academic committees and departmental initiatives.
· Engage in outreach activities, such as collaborating with industry partners, providing professional development workshops, or consulting with organizations on HR-related matters.
· Contribute to curriculum development, assessment processes, and accreditation requirements as per the university's standards.
· Stay updated with developments in HR practices, employment law, diversity and inclusion, ethics, technology, and other relevant areas to integrate cutting-edge knowledge into teaching and research.
Requirements:
· A Ph.D. in Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
· Demonstrated expertise in HR theory, research methodologies, and a strong publication record in reputable academic journals.
· Previous experience teaching HR-related courses with a commitment to excellence in education and student mentorship.
· Ability to develop and implement innovative teaching methods, utilize technology, and foster interactive and experiential learning environments.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and students.
· Commitment to academic service, such as participation in committees, advising, and university initiatives.
· Professional experience in HR management, consulting, or relevant industry exposure is advantageous.
