About CODE, IIT Madras:  CODE (Centre for Outreach and Digital Education) at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras is renowned nationally and internationally for excellence in technical education, research, innovation, and industrial consultancy. Established in 1986, CODE coordinates all non-campus academic and outreach activities from IIT Madras, formerly known as the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE). The centre manages a variety of programs including Web-enabled MTech programs, NPTEL and GIAN courses, BS in Data Science, short-term skilling programs for industry professionals, quality improvement programs for engineering faculty, and support for conferences and book writing endeavors.   Job Title: Head/Senior Sales Manager - Executive Education   Overview:   We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Sales Manager to join our esteemed institution specializing in executive education. With 7 to 10 years of proven experience in sales, the ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the executive education landscape and a track record of successfully selling high-value educational programs to corporate clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive revenue growth, cultivate strategic partnerships, and expand our presence in the executive education market.   Responsibilities: • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth in the executive education segment. • Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at target companies, understanding their organizational needs and aligning our offerings accordingly. • Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and contract closure, ensuring a seamless and consultative experience for clients. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including program directors, faculty members, and marketing teams, to tailor educational solutions that meet client objectives and address market demands. • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and client challenges, leveraging insights to refine sales strategies and differentiate our offerings. • Represent the institution at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, effectively articulating our value proposition and building brand awareness. • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts, reports, and management insights, enabling informed decision-making and resource allocation. • Mentor and coach junior members of the sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.   Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. • 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in sales, with a focus on executive education, corporate training, or related fields. • Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets and cultivating long-term relationships with corporate clients. • Strong understanding of the executive education landscape, including market trends, competitor offerings, and client needs. • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers and articulate value propositions effectively. • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles, navigate organizational structures, and close high-value deals. • Strategic mindset with a results-driven approach, coupled with a customer-centric orientation and a commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences. • Analytical acumen and proficiency in sales CRM systems, with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive informed sales decisions. • Adaptability and resilience, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.   Join our team and play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our executive education programs.
