Responsibilities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate the physical, emotional, and intellectual growth of preschool-aged children.
Create a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration.
Observe and assess children's progress, and provide feedback to parents on their child's development.
Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
Foster social skills and emotional intelligence through group activities, playtime, and structured learning experiences.
Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, including sanitizing toys and equipment regularly.
Adhere to all preschool policies and procedures, including those related to health, safety, and confidentiality.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Preschool Director or Supervisor.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred.
Previous experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting is desirable.
Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
