As the Head Of Individuals And Societies, you will be responsible for overseeing the Individuals and Societies department in an IB School. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore Urban, Karnataka, India. The ideal candidate should have more than 10 years of experience in a similar role.

Qualifications And Skills

• A Master's degree in Economics or History with teaching certification
• IB certification or extensive knowledge and experience in the IB curriculum
• More than 10 years of experience in teaching Individuals and Societies in an IB School
• Experience in a leadership or supervisory role
• Excellent knowledge of the IB framework and standards for Individuals and Societies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire students and staff
• Organizational and time management skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the school

Roles And Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Individuals and Societies department in an IB School
• Develop and implement the curriculum for Individuals and Societies
• Ensure that the curriculum aligns with the IB framework and standards
• Supervise and support Individuals and Societies teachers
• Monitor and assess student progress in the Individuals and Societies subject area
• Collaborate with other department heads and school leaders to enhance the overall educational experience
