IT Trainer (Job Vacancy)

Company Description ICT Academy is a non-profit autonomous organization that aims to improve the quality of students graduating from institutions in India such that they are immediately employable in the ICT industry. Governed by a board of governors that includes representatives from state governments, leading companies in the ICT industry, and NASSCOM, ICT Academy operates under the Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) model to train higher education teachers and students in the areas of Information & Communication Technology, making them industry-ready. The goal is to meet the skill requirements of the industry and generate more employment opportunities in tier 2/3 cities and the ICT manufacturing and services sectors. Role Description ICT Academy is looking for a Full-time on-site IT Trainer who will be working in Chennai. The IT Trainer will be responsible for managing and delivering technical training for faculties and students across Tamil Nadu. The trainer will also work with various university leadership and faculty members to identify technical skill gaps and create custom programs to meet the industry demand. The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of the latest trends in the industry and a passion for helping others succeed. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field with a strong academic record • Minimum of 2 years of experience in delivering IT training and/or teaching IT courses at university or a similar environment • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable personality • Strong understanding of the latest technology trends and ability to translate them into easy-to-understand language • Demonstrated experience delivering training sessions on various IT topics • A self-starter, with the ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks effectively • Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities • Willingness to travel to multiple locations across Tamil Nadu as required • Experience in delivering training on topics such as Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, and Data Science is a plus
