Job Description: We are seeking a proactive Inside Sales Executive to join our team and support our sales efforts within the higher education market. The Inside Sales Executive will play a critical role in conducting market research, identifying new prospects, engaging with key decision-makers, and scheduling meetings for our front-end sales team members. Additionally, they will collaborate with the sales team to develop customized proposals and solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential prospects and opportunities within the higher education sector.
- Utilize various channels, including online databases, industry publications, and networking events, to identify decision-makers and key stakeholders within target institutions.
- Proactively reach out to prospects via outbound sales calls, emails, and social media platforms to generate leads and schedule appointments for front-end sales team members.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop customized proposals, presentations, and solutions that address the specific needs and challenges of prospective clients.
- Engage with key decision-makers, such as academic administrators, department heads, and faculty members, to understand their pain points, challenges, and goals.
- Present our products and solutions in a compelling manner, highlighting their benefits and value proposition to potential clients.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, prospect interactions, and meeting schedules in the CRM system.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.
- Continuously evaluate and refine sales strategies and approaches to improve effectiveness and drive results.
- Collaborate closely with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns and initiatives to generate leads and support sales efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Proven experience in inside sales or business development, preferably within the higher education sector.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
