Job Title: Instructional Designer

Experience: 3-5 years

The Job Profile

We are looking for a professional Instructional Designer to design and develop learning and practising experiences. The goal is to facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies effectively.

The role includes working with subject matter experts, teachers and a diverse range of concepts in the early education sector. It also includes fundamental instructional design tasks of developing objectives, rewriting and reshaping content, and developing assessments. Additionally, the role will require you to train and manage content writers.

Responsibilities

Instructional design:

• Work with subject matter experts, identify and analyse target audiences training needs
• Conduct the required research for subject matter
• Structure content and activities for optimizing learning
• Reshape content for changing needs
• Apply instructional design theories, practice and methods
• State the objectives and instructional end goals and create content that matches them
• Create content for engaging learning activities and compelling course that enhances retention and transfer
• Create assessments and assessment instruments

Writing

• Write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts (Storyboards)
• Create student guides and training manuals

Project Documentation

• Manage and maintain project documentation and course folders

Requirements

• A Bachelors or Masters degree (In Instructional Design or English preferably)
• Certification in instructional design
• Proven working experience in instructional design
• Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
• Firm grasp of how people learn
• Excellent writing skills
• Collaboration skills
• Imagination
