Junior Mentor Intern
Job Role: A Junior Mentor is a professional who teaches students based on our curriculum guidelines within their specialist subject areas. Their duties include assigning homework, grading tests, documenting progress, and keeping up with parent communication. They communicate and evaluate needs to ensure every student feels challenged but not overwhelmed by the material being covered.
Technical Skills:
- Basic Robotics
- Arduino based work
- Python
- HTML,CSS, JS
- Raspberry pi projects
- Basics related to pygame
Educational Background and Fresher / experience:
- Educational background in Computer Science/Mechanic /mechatronics/Robotics or a related field.
- Experience with educational platforms and tools designed for teaching programming to children.
- Experience in developing simple and interactive projects appropriate for children.
Creativity in Teaching:
- Ability to develop creative and engaging programming activities for kids.
- Incorporation of games, stories, or other interactive elements to make learning enjoyable.
- Utilization of interactive methods, such as live coding, hands-on projects
Communication Skills:
- Clear and age-appropriate communication skills.
- Ability to break down complex programming concepts into digestible information for children.
- Demonstrated patience in working with children who may be learning at different paces.
Availability:
- Flexibility in scheduling mentorship sessions.
Feedback and Encouragement:
- Ability to provide constructive feedback in a supportive manner.
- Encouragement of creativity and problem-solving skills
