Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing gameplay mechanics, user interfaces, and other features in Unity.
• Collaborating with game designers, curriculum designers, and assessment specialists to ensure that game / simulation elements are aligned with educational objectives and technical requirements.
• Implementing and optimizing app performance, including memory usage, loading times, and frame rates.
• Debugging and troubleshooting issues that arise during development, including identifying and resolving bugs and other technical problems.
• Working with other developers to integrate backend services and APIs with the game / simulation.
• Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry standards and best practices.
• Contributing to the design and planning of new simulation features and systems, including technical specifications and estimates for development timelines.
• Communicating technical concepts to team members and stakeholders, and providing input on design decisions when necessary.
• Staying up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in game development and educational technology.

Skills / Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in game design, computer science, or a related field.
• At least 1 years of experience in designing and developing mobile games / simulation products, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Strong proficiency in Unity development tools.
• Experience with app optimization techniques, such as memory and performance profiling.
• Experience with backend services and APIs and ability to integrate them with the app.
• Excellent communication skills, with ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and ideas to cross-functional teams.
• Passion for games, with a desire to create engaging and meaningful learning experiences for users.
• Experience with educational game development or simulations is a plus.
• Efficient with digital tools and Google G Suite.
