Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development and Learning Design:

• Develop & deliver a math curriculum that nurtures a love for math, combining theoretical principles with real-life applications.
• Create comprehensive and creative learning tracks for Primary, Middle, & High school math.
• Blend subject expertise, pedagogical experience, standardized curricula, & competitive math resources to create engaging lessons for new age learners.
• Design exercises that challenge students to apply math concepts in real-world contexts & practice mindful learning.

Facilitation and Instruction:

• Lead engaging, AI-assisted math sessions that make learning enjoyable & accessible.
• Implement mindfulness exercises to enhance focus & reduce math anxiety.
• Engage learners in mathematical thinking through Socratic learning, reflection, & peer learning.
• Conduct personalized and small group sessions to address individual learning needs.

Mentorship, Feedback & Assessment: and Collaboration:

• Act as a mentor, & a role model, guiding students through mathematical concepts and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with colleagues to continuously enhance the learning experience and curriculum.
• Conduct math clubs, contests, & workshops to create and nurture a growing community of enthusiastic young mathematicians.
• Develop and utilize robust assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of math teaching methods and content.
• Continuously adapt teaching strategies based on student feedback and evolving educational trends.
• Ensure assessments are differentiated and customized, using AI as needed, to instill rigor, nurture strengths, and address gaps at an individual level.

Qualifications:

• A Masters degree in mathematics or related field is highly desirable.
• Proven expertise and passion for mathematical thinking and instruction.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience teaching math across different levels: primary, middle, and high school.
• Has a knack for engaging students of all ages in math learning and is capable of teaching any K-12 math topic with appropriate resources.
• Experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and delivering interactive lessons in online, hybrid and physical classrooms.
• Exhibits mindfulness in teaching and personal conduct.
• Demonstrates strong mathematical concepts and a dedication to math education.
• Embodies rigor and passion for math, inspiring students through personal commitment and enthusiasm.
• Proficient with digital tools ( Zoom, interactive whiteboards, AI technologies).
• Adaptable, innovative, and willing to embrace a startup culture.
• Experience working with a diverse team and developing assessment tools, especially in math education.
