Lab Technician - Computational Biology Lab (Job Vacancy)

Role: Lab Technician - Computational Biology Lab Location: Hyderabad Experience: 2 - 3 years Preferred Experience: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technician with expertise in Computational Biology/Bioinformatics/Computer Science. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our computational biology lab courses and projects by performing a variety of lab tasks, data analysis, and assisting in the development and implementation of computer programs/algorithms. Key Responsibilities: · Assist in routine Computational Biology lab tasks. · Maintain computer lab systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure proper functioning. · Assist in data analysis using computational tools and software relevant to computational biology. · Assist in the development and implementation of programs/algorithms for data processing and analysis. · Collaborate with faculty members to understand lab/project requirements and provide support in computational aspects. · Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to team discussions and meetings. · Keep accurate and detailed records of computational biology lab procedures, results, and analyses. · Prepare reports, summaries, and documentation for internal and external requirements. Preferred Candidature: · M.Tech/MCA/MSc in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics/Computer Science/Computer Application. · Hands-on experience in computer programming and computational biology. · Experience in programming languages commonly used in computational biology (e.g., Python and R). · Experience with Computational biology tools and databases. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. · Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. · Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team. · Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
