We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, well-organised, qualified and committed candidate. The candidate should be able to support the organisation, management and leadership of the school and to undertake the key duties of a senior leader. The candidate would be expected to use their initiative and judgement within the school’s objectives and to demonstrate accountability.

• The Vice-Principal will provide inspiring leadership to ensure an exceptional curriculum intent, implementation, and impact across the school.
• The Vice Principal will support and uphold the vision, ethos, principles and policies of the school.
• The Vice-Principal will oversee the day-to-day running of the segment Grades I to X.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement long, medium, and short-term curriculum plans to enhance student learning.
• Contribute to institutional planning for overall school development.
• Collaborate with school leadership to establish HR policies and procedures.
• Assess vacancies and participate in recruitment processes.
• Conduct induction programs for new teachers, covering various aspects of school life.
• Support new teachers in understanding school ethos and departmental operations.
• Collaborate with departments for curricular and co-curricular activities.
• Work closely with coordinators to ensure consistency and suggest improvements.
• Implement, evaluate, and improve academic plans in collaboration with school leadership.
• Cultivate a culture of excellence, equality, and high expectations.
• Mentor teachers to create engaging learning environments.
• Organize demonstration lessons and address routine concerns.
• Prepare and submit reports in a timely manner.
• Engage in continuous professional development.
• Lead the team and manage resources effectively.
• Build rapport with students and manage discipline issues.
• Undertake special assignments and ad-hoc duties.
• Demonstrate upstanding ethics and integrity.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Latest and updated knowledge on best practices, various teaching methodologies and developments at National / International level pertaining to academic administration.
• Expert knowledge on CISCE rules and regulations, academic information, affiliation and procedural issues.

Education Qualification:

• Excellent academic track record.
• B.Ed. with a Post-Graduation in any teaching subject.

Experience:

• 3-5 years in the rank of Vice Principal/ Headmistress/ Sr. Coordinator in schools of repute (preferably affiliated to CISCE) with student strength of 1500 and above in a K-10 setting.
